Dogs adopted to Krabloonik Dog Sledding

On December 5th, 2019, we adopted 16 of our dogs out to Krabloonik Dog Sledding in Snowmass Village, Colorado. Krabloonik was where we got our start in dog sledding. It is also where Tracie and I met and were married, so it was fitting that some of our dogs move there to complete the circle.

Performance note:
Can run lead, but only earlier in the season. Will pull off to the side to pee on anything kind of close, especially with ground exposed. Turns around to communicate with the dog behind him. This can really slow the team if he is near the front. Good puller when not concerned about his neighbors.
Public description:
Part of The Office litter from Misty and Horace. He is super sweet with kids and guests, but can be a bit shy from time to time. Likes to secretly pee on guests when they pet someone else.

Strong dog but pulls very inconsistently. Would rather look around and sniff and pee. Super grouchy like his dad. Guests love this guy.
Public description:
Watch your face after the ride, because he is exuberant and loves to play and jump up on people. As much as he loves people, he is super grouchy around other boys.

Cute little guy who is a little on the shy side. Loves to hangout with you once he gets familiar.

Pulls great. Can run near the front. Should try her at lead. Very sensitive, so cannot run with a big personality.
Public description:
Emerald is a bit shy around new people. She works great on trail, but needs a relaxed partner. She doesn't care for the drama.

Decent puller. Kind of snarly with some girls. Best with a girl sibling or boy partner. Can be too playful at times, but usually only when other partner initiates it. Is a guest favorite at the end of a trip.
Public description:
Wild Child! She has become a favorite among the guests because she is just so darn cute and loves to hug and roll on her back for tummy rubs. Very very fast and little. She kind of reminds me a hummingbird.

Public description:
Tall and pretty, friendly and goofy. He loves to play and play and play with his brother Cameron. He is running in the middle and pulling pretty hard. He loves to give hugs.

This guy is so good looking to me. A very friendly dog with lots of enthusiasm. He is working very hard and seems to love every minute.

This dog is great! So consistent. Pulls hard. Focused enough to run at lead. Doesn't know commands too well, but will follow his partner. Occasionally will stop to pee on things when running near front of team. Keeps a good pace and kept Ace JK focused and from looking back. LIKE TO CHEW THE LINE when not in lead.
Public description:
Sweetheart of a dog who is business like on the trail. He loves hanging out with his best buddy Drizzle.

If you have been for a kennel tour recently, he is the yellow guy that demands attention while we show off the dog yard. He likes getting pets and snarling at his brother Po.

Public description:
Super, duper sweet. Kind of big for a lap dog, but I think he would love it. Usually runs beside his brother Oscar. So handsome and so friendly.

Performance note:
Strong dog who pulls well. Did well at lead when I had to sub him for Carolina when the balloon was out. During the spring I moved him toward the back of the team because he wanted to stop and pee on lots of things.
Public description:
Teach has been a great dog for us. He can run just about anywhere and with anyone. In the exercise yard or after the ride, he loves running full speed at people and jumping towards their chest.
