Habitat for Humanity of Grand County believes that all families and children deserve a safe, decent place to live. Our goal is to eliminate substandard, poverty housing in Grand County. Habitat relies on the labor of volunteers and donations of labor and materials to build houses for low income families in Grand County. Habitat families work side-by-side with Habitat volunteers to build their houses. When the house is completed, Habitat sells the house to the family at cost and with a no-interest mortgage with an affordable monthly payment for the family.
