The Fraser Valley Lion's Club began in 1981 with 25 members. Today our membership numbers close to 75 men and women who are dedicated to assisting the needy and providing unselfish service to our community. Our fund raising efforts include pancake breakfasts at various events, maintenance of the Arapahoe National Forest campgrounds, the Cozens Cup Golf Tournament and the Christmas Festival of Trees. These activities provide funds to award the scholarships to local high school student funds for many Lions Foundation Grants to non-profit organizations in the county. The Lions Club holds breakfast meetings on the first and third Thursday of each month at Carver's Restaurant in Winter Park. Go to www.Fraservalleylions.org to learn more about the club.
